Ingredients
  

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 1 box chocolate pudding mix (dry)
  • 1 ¼ cups milk
  • ½ cup vegetable/sunflower oil
  • 1 ¼ cups milk chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Combine the chocolate cake mix, dry pudding mix, milk, and oil. Stir just until no dry streaks remain.
  3. Fold in the chocolate chips and spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  4. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, until the center is set and a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Instant pudding mix makes the cake extra moist and fudgy.
  • Do not overmix the batter or the cake can become dense.
  • Semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips can be substituted for milk chocolate.
  • Serve warm with vanilla ice cream for the ultimate dessert.
