Method
- Preheat oven and spray a 9x13 baking dish with nonstick spray.
- Pour the crushed pineapple with juice into the dish and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle brown sugar over the pineapple, then evenly add the dry cake mix on top.
- Drizzle melted butter evenly over the cake mix.
- Bake for 45–50 minutes until golden on top.
- Serve warm with ice cream and a maraschino cherry on top.
Notes
- Do not mix the layers for best texture
- Add extra butter if dry spots appear
- Store leftovers in the fridge and reheat before serving
- Great for potlucks, holidays, or easy weeknight desserts
