Method
- Place pork chops in the slow cooker and season with salt and pepper. Top with onion and garlic.
- Whisk together Dr Pepper, barbecue sauce, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, smoked paprika, and garlic powder.
- Pour sauce over pork chops and cook until tender.
- Stir in cornstarch slurry and cook until thickened.
- Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
Notes
- Use regular Dr Pepper for the best glaze
- Add a splash of broth if the sauce thickens too much
- Boneless or bone in chops both work with adjusted cook time
- Leftovers keep well in the refrigerator for up to 4 days
