Easy Peach Dump Cake (Skillet Recipe)

This easy peach dump cake with canned peaches is warm, buttery, and full of old fashioned flavor. Made in a skillet with cake mix and cinnamon, it’s the perfect quick dessert for any occasion.

Ingredients
  

  • 15 ounce can of sliced peaches in syrup (or 2 cups fresh peaches, sliced)
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream (optional for serving)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and prepare a cast iron skillet or oven-safe baking dish.
  2. Pour peaches with syrup into the skillet and spread evenly.
  3. Sprinkle dry cake mix over the peaches, then add cinnamon and drizzle melted butter across the top.
  4. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes until golden brown and bubbling. Cool slightly before serving warm.

Notes

  • Do not stir the layers together
  • Spread butter evenly over the cake mix
  • Fresh peaches can be used instead of canned
  • Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream
